Paul Buhle, who taught The Sixties and other subjects at Brown University before retirement, is back in Madison, mostly editing radical comic art books but also one that is only part-comics: IT STARTED IN WISCONSIN, essays on the events of February-June. He published the SDS journal RADICAL AMERICA in Madison, 1967-71, and whole lot of books since, on radical history and popular culture. A PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF AMERICAN EMPIRE, drawn by Mike Konopacki, is his big seller.
