This session will explore enacting the “We the People” Amendment [HJR 48] which enables the creation of the  laws and regulations that define the role of corporations in society and frees elections of  the corrupting influence of Big $$$. The amendment is the necessary platform on which to create specific federal, state and local laws changing  the way our system works expanding justice, freedom, peace and sustainability that will tangibly improve people’s lives and communities.

We will consider the synergy of  these happening side-by-side,… incorporating both what will be eliminated and what is necessary to replace it,…  in the same time frame,…   as one package,… one text allowing all parties to work to approve them at once. This process unites “the #1 issue” that most touches each person’s heartstrings to remain their key focus while seeing the Amendment process as “everyone’s #2 issue” without which little progress can be made. This is the core issue around which we can unite.
