With a PhD in English and career experience in writing, editing, teaching, leading workshops and working with nonprofits concerned about changing the culture of the US from one of destructive domination to one of cooperative sustainability, Betsy Barnum now works primarilhy with the Green Party and an emerging organization called Commuity Rights GroundWork that seeks to help local citizens recover their political self-esteem.
