Ra Shad Frazier-Gaines is a native of Aiken, South Carolina. Frazier-Gaines has been engaged in national progressive politics since 2007. Frazier-Gaines has previously served as the Treasurer of the Aiken County Government's Historical Commission. He is also the founder of the Black Caucus of the Young Democrats of America and Black Progressives. Frazier-Gaines has a formal background in broadcast radio and shares a passion for aiding at-risk youth, the abolishment of the death penalty, and ending homelessness & displacement.
