Terry Crawford-Browne is South African, a former international banker turned peace activist who in 1985 with Archbishop Tutu launched the successful banking sanctions campaign against apartheid to avert a civil war in South Africa.  He  is known as the whistleblower on South Africa’s arms deal scandal. He  has served as a peace monitor at Israeli checkpoints in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, on the Russell Tribunal on Palestine, and in June 2017 participated in the Insecurity shadow conference on Israeli military industries in Tel Aviv.
