Levels of Convention Sponsorship

We invite sponsorship of the Democracy Convention at a variety of levels. Plan to participate at the level that best matches the commitment and capacity of your organization, union, media entity, cooperative, or business.  All sponsorships are tax-deductible.

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about becoming a Media Sponsor.  Media Sponsors are typically media outlets or other journalism focused organizations who contribute to the Convention by promoting the event to their audiences through avenues like PSA's, website exposure, print ads, on-air mentions, etc.

■ Major Sponsor - $2000, Signator Sponsor - $5000, Founding Sponsor - $10000 ■

Convention promotion by Major, Signator, and Founding Sponsors: Promotion of the Convention to memberships and other contacts via online, print, and other opportunities.  Sponsors agree to email their lists and to post prominent weblinks encouraging attendance at the Democracy Convention.

Organizations at these sponsorship levels will receive: First choice of tabling options; 20 (Major), 50 (Signator), or 100 (Founding) Convention registrations; and the most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors.

Businesses at these sponsorship levels will receive: The most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors; as well as a full page advertisement in the Convention program plus a full page program insert. Minneapolis area business will also be placed on a sponsorship map directing participants to their business.

■ Sponsor - $500, National Sponsor- $1000 ■

Convention promotion by Sponsors and National Sponsors:  Promotion of the Convention to memberships and other contacts via online, print, and other opportunities.  Sponsors agree to email their lists and to post prominent weblinks encouraging attendance at the Democracy Convention.

Organizations at these sponsorship levels will receive: Second choice of tabling options; 5 (Sponsor) or 10 (National Sponsor) Convention registrations; and the second most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors.

Businesses at these sponsorship levels will receive: The second most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors; as well as a full page advertisement in the Convention program. Minneapolis area business will also be placed on a sponsorship map directing participants to their business.

■ Endorser- $50, Supporter- $100, Co-Sponsor- $250 ■

($100 minimum for businesses)

Organizations at these sponsorship levels will receive:  Third choice of tabling options; 1 (Supporter) or 2 (Co-Sponsor) Convention registrations; and the third most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors.

Businesses at the Supporter or Co-Sponsor sponsorship levels will receive: The third most prominent sponsorship listing on the Democracy Convention website, promotional materials, and all other materials listing Convention sponsors; as well as a half page advertisement in the Convention program. Minneapolis area business will also be placed on a sponsorship map directing participants to their business.
