Lucille Eckrich is an Associate Professor at Illinois State University, where she has taught sociology and philosophy of education since 2001. Prior to that, she worked for two City Colleges of Chicago, an urban studies program in Chicago, an anti-apartheid coalition in Illinois, and an economic development and adult education organization in a subsistence farming community in Botswana, southern Africa.
