Democracy Convention

Democracy is coming... to the U.S.A.

The call for $15/hr in Minneapolis went from being called impossible by the political establishment to forcing City Hall to enact the Midwest's first $15/hr minimum wage, in a demonstration of how cities can resist Trump's corporate-backed agenda.  This victory shows that working people cannot limit themselves to what is deemed acceptable by the political establishment and its ties to big business - instead, working people need to organize independently around our collective needs to get things done. Join 15 Now leader Ginger Jentzen to discuss how $15 won in Minneapolis, and how we can use those lessons to build powerful movements capable of winning real gains for working people.
